It's with great sadness that I need to say goodbye to a few dear friends that I have loved in my life to make room for some new friends.
I must first say goodbye to my friends Ikea, Z Gallerie, and Pottery Barn. Everyday I see reminders of you around my home and will always remember when I met all you. Thank you for that.
To Michaels & Hobby Lobby...this is not a complete goodbye but more of a "see ya around" kind of thing. Your paints, science kits, and scrapbooking supplies will always be apart of my life, but just not as often as you have been in the past.
Well, Ticketmaster and Broadway-in-Chicago. You have to know that you are partially responsible for this situation. With your high ticket prices and fees upon fees, you've backed me into a corner and I must get out. I love you, but you are out of my life (well, at least for now.)
Oh, my dear Borders, Barnes & Noble's and Amazon.com. Of all of the friends in my life you have brought me the most joy from the very beginning. My love affair with books began with your forefathers Kroch's and Brentano's in the Park Forest Plaza back in the late 1960s. I think I will miss you most of all.
And to my newest friends Dollar Tree, Aldi Foods, and PaperBackSwap...I cannot promise that we will be friends forever, but for now, you are just what I need.
With my sincere love and gratitude to you all...
